Don’t ask me, my dentist found a cavity this week.
I’m too old for cavities :(

It’s a great marketing scheme if nothing else.
Also, 100% organic non-GMO!

If I had a time machine I wouldn’t do any of the expected things... I’d be going back to beat my kid self until he brushed his teeth

I once saw a bottle of sunscreen marked gluten free. IDK

WELL, maybe it isn’t?
DON’T YOU EVER THINK BEFORE YOU BRUSH!?!?!?

I brush twice a day! This is also only my third cavity ever (humblebrag)

My brother has organic gluten free body wash... I’m not sure if it’s an issue but it’s definitely a thing, apparently.

Hehe, I work in a freakin dental school. They won’t let me stop thinking about it. Gah!

Same, my x-rays are terrifying. My dentist loves me though. Not just for that sweet cavity money, they just love working on me.

Probably because people who are actually allergic to gluten can have issues even touching it. I have a friend who bought a new shampoo and had issues with her skin until she took a closer look at the ingredients. Same thing.

Thought that was paint. I guess its for those chosen few that like to swallow toothpaste, before or after brushing.
Don’t want to get an allergic reaction, I guess.

To people who are actually allergic to gluten, it’s definitely an issue.

I snapped this the last time I was in. Ew.
I’m doing a lot better now... total damage in the last 3 years has been one small filling and putting a crown on that flat tooth (filling just plain wore out)... but prior to that I hadn’t been to the dentist in a couple years and had something like 15-20 to get fixed. On TOP of what was there already.
Front teeth, right on the gumline, both have massive fillings. They were literal deep visible holes. And they stank.
I tell you I want to smack that kid

Ya I use that act fluoride rinse to help. Had to get a few small spots touched up about a year ago. But I shouldn’t get many more since I no longer drink pop regularly and actually take care of them. He did tell me if I get one more on a certain tooth they’ll have to go to a crown.

I could see toothpaste since it only takes something like one PPM of gluten to cause GI issues in someone with Celiac Disease. I could see someone ingesting that amount of gluten from brushing their teeth. But body wash really shouldn’t be ingested.

I don’t ask her showering habits, it warns to make sure you don’t get it near your mouth. She used the shampoo and got a rash.

Well sure, but soap suds can fly around sometimes.

The marketing guys must love this. Mark something that would never have Gluten in it as Gluten Free and cash in on this silly craze.

I was at the dentist yesterday and the X-ray picked up part of my nose stud. They were real confused for a minute.

That must be a thorough scrubbing haha

I suppose some people with celiac disease really can’t come into contact with any gluten, so I wouldn’t judge it.

Ouch. I just went to the dentist two days ago for the first time in five years. Only 3 fillings, two of which are barely needed. One my tooth is straight up chipped from a cavity, but it doesn’t hurt. I thought it was the sealant on the molar so I wasn’t that worried. Whoops.
